Last Monday night I was made the best homemade macaroni and cheese I have ever made...unfortunately I didn't get to enjoy it very much. When I was straining the boiling noodles into the sink, the boiling water spilled out on to me. Andy called my folks and they came and they watched the girls while we went to the hospital. We spent three hours in the emergency room on Monday night. I had second degree burns on my left thigh and on parts of my very pregnant stomach. At the hospital, they hooked us up to a fetal monitor and did an ultrasound and Quinn is just fine. My thigh is healing quite nicely, my poor stomach still hurts quite a bit. When my parents came to watch the girls, my mom saw the noodles and the cheese sauce and was able to salvage the mac and cheese...thank goodness, because it really was the best I have ever made.
